Dr. Cindy Stevens grew up in the Northern Dallas/Garland area. She later graduated from Texas A&M in 1987 and interned in medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University. She now lives in Sachse with her daughter Eva Noel who is now 13 and such a sweetheart. In addition to her lovely daughter, she has a few other animal children that have attached themselves to her; Xander the greyhound and Merci the Shih tzu. Her caring heart is apparent to all. |

Dr. Marti Cochran graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has worked in the North Dallas area since then providing services to both small animal preventative and emergency care. When not at work she enjoys playing with her son, Andrew, and spending time with her husband, Gary. The Cochrans have a small horse ranch where they raise pure Spanish Andalusians. Currently, they have 4 cats, one dog, and 3 ducks. |

Christie Fleming, our head technician, has been with the clinic since December 2000. She lives in Wylie with her husband Eric. They share their living space with a cranky, old asthmatic cat named Jazz. Dearest to our hearts, at NorthStar Animal Clinic, are our Resident Felines.
- Giselle, one of our resident felines, is assigned to greeting clients as they enter the clinic. She has been with the clinic since it opened in 2000. She has been with Dr. Cindy for the past 15 years since her unfortunate incident with a car when she was less than a year old. Her left, rear leg is permanently damaged, yet this doesn't get in the way of her good-willed spirit.
- Allyce is not only one of our resident felines, she is also an avid treat tester and sleep therapist. She has been with the clinic since 2000 and, like Giselle, came to the clinic after her 2nd incident with a car. Dr. Cindy decided that she would be safe and happy here at NorthStar, rather than out on the road.
- Icarus, our other resident feline, is our mischief maker and personal court jester. He is our newest feline having been with the clinic since 2004. Icarus was rescued by some very loving ladies who snatched him away from some abusive kids when he was only 11 ounces! Fear not, he has become quite an adorable cat who is spoiled rotten by all of us.
